Kemppi’s optimized WiseFusion welding function generates a very concentrated and energy-dense arc that accelerates the welding process while reducing heat input, which is particularly beneficial for sensitive materials. Reduced heat input leads to less deformation and better mechanical properties of the weld.
A targeted penetration depth and perfect arc geometry enable easy welding in all positions. The adaptive control of the machine automatically brings the arc length to the optimum value. This results in the following advantages:

Adaptive and automatic arc length regulation always keeps the arc within the short circuit limits, increasing arc time and ensuring consistent weld quality. Due to the targeted penetration of fillet welds beyond the root point, the composite seam thickness can be included in the calculation of the layer structure (Figure 1). This reduces the number of layers to be welded, which among other things leads to lower consumption of welding wire and working time.
