
At Euroblech, RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau GmbH presented the MiniBendCenter 2, a fully automated solution for the precise individual and series production of bent parts.
According to the manufacturer, the MiniBendCenter 2 is the only bending center in the world that has been specially developed for small parts. It combines advanced robotics with an innovative software solution to achieve maximum flexibility and efficiency. The new MiniBend-Office software and the integrated robot for fully automatic loading and unloading make the system suitable for 24/7 operation.
New standards with Minibend Office software
The MiniBendCenter 2 is equipped with the new MiniBend Office software, which is a stand-alone solution and replaces the previously used CAM software and SolidWorks. Thanks to the partnership with software partner Euclid, the flexibility of the software has been significantly increased and fully integrated control has been realized. Thanks to the MiniBend Office software, only one piece of software is required to handle both programming and simulation, thus combining the entire process in one platform. This reduces complexity, increases efficiency and simplifies operation.
Intelligent robotics for loading and unloading
The robot system of the MiniBendCenter 2 takes over both the loading and unloading of the workpieces. With its high-precision servo-electric system, the system sets new standards in terms of efficiency and precision. The vacuum suction cup has four individually controllable suction cups that enable efficient handling of parts from stacks or bulk material. The finished bent parts are palletized in a space-saving and stable manner and pallets can be changed safely and smoothly during operation. Thanks to the seamless integration of the robot into the software, no additional teaching is required.
Automated processes for continuous operation
The MiniBendCenter 2 enables the processing of sheet metal up to 600 x 600 mm and a material thickness of up to 3 mm steel. Due to the automatic bending technology in both directions, no turning of the parts is required, which avoids unnecessary movements and significantly reduces the processing time. In combination with the automatic tool set-up, the machine enables continuous 24/7 production in so-called “ghost shifts” – with both series parts and individual parts.
