SMS will present its latest developments and plant concepts for the tube and wire industry on a booth area of 400 m².

New coating systems as milestones for sustainability and renewable energies
Thermal coatings are increasingly coming into focus when it comes to corrosion protection, durability and resistance of pipes.
At Tube & Wire, SMS will present the latest Perfect Jet spray gun models, for example Perfect Jet 2000. It is particularly suitable for coating large structures, such as wind turbines for use in offshore parks. The Perfect Jet 401 is especially suitable for the weld coating of ERW (Electric Restistance Welding) profiles. Both applications will be presented to visitors at the show.
Transport of highly volatile hydrogen and natural gas requires impermeable, non-porous pipes and tanks to minimize losses by diffusion. Here, too, SMS is working on an innovative solution to meet this high requirement in the best possible way.

SMS Workshop Tour in Mönchengladbach
On the third day of the fair (June 22), SMS will offer a workshop tour at the nearby site and future headquarters in Mönchengladbach. Interested trade visitors can attend the event as well as tours of the Coating Competence Center or the EA Test Center.
