New HiFinox cathodes for long service life and good cutting quality when plasma cutting stainless steel and aluminium
From now on Kjellberg offers new “HiFinox” cathodes for the plasma cutting systems Q, Smart Focus and HiFocus. The cuts are characterized by metallic bright surfaces, narrow joints and significantly less beard attachment.
The range of application includes stainless steel and aluminium from 1 to 6 mm thickness. The improved design, the optimized manufacturing process and the patent-pending technology will in future result in a significant increase in the service life of the cathodes – by a factor of 5 to 10 for a cutting current of 60 A.
The low burn-back of the cathode pins ensures a permanently high cut quality, which is evident in the form of smooth cut surfaces with significantly less dross build-up. Users benefit from the new cathodes E042, F042+ and G042+ as of now: They are standard for all current plasma current sources of the Q, Smart Focus and HiFocus series and can easily be used with existing cutting data. The known prices remain unchanged.
