2022 is a very special year for the Kjellberg family of companies. Exactly 100 years ago, at the suggestion of Oscar Kjellberg, Kjellberg Elektro-Maschinen GmbH was founded in Finsterwalde on April 4th, 1922.
On the occasion of this particularly round birthday, the Kjellberg management surprised all employees at their workplace with an individual birthday cake and personal words of thanks.
The employees look back on their history with pride, because a lot has happened in 100 years. In 1922, it all began with a production facility that manufactured welding generators for Kjellberg electrodes. Today, a century later, this very production facility is a global player. The products and technologies for plasma cutting, welding and from the field of mechanical engineering are used worldwide. And it’s all made in Germany. made in Finsterwalde.
Kjellberg Finsterwalde celebrates this success together with long-standing customers, partners and friends in numerous countries. On October 25th, 2022, the company’s 100th anniversary will be celebrated at Euroblech in Hanover with customers and partners from all over Europe. In order to continue to be so successful, the traditional company has set itself challenging goals for the future. For example, the challenges posed by digitization will continue to be on the agenda of the technology provider with its own research company.
