Turn three into four: Laserline appointed Dr. Alexander Arndt as its fourth Managing Director at the start of the year alongside Dr. Claus Narr and founders Dr. Christoph Ullmann and Volker Krause. Dr. Arndt, who holds a doctorate in mechanical engineering, has been working for Laserline since 2018 and has already held several central positions there. As Managing Director, he is responsible for sales, marketing, application, IT and process management.
Arndt initially studied mechanical engineering with a focus on product development at Koblenz University of Applied Sciences before completing his master’s degree at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he earned his doctorate in mechanical engineering with a focus on additive manufacturing. After joining Laserline in 2018, he initially worked as an assistant to the management with a focus on digitalization and process development, before taking on the position of Manager of Digitalization and Process Design in 2020. Since 2022, he has served as Head of Process Management and IT as well as Head of Sales, Marketing and Application. In 2024, he was appointed to the Board of Directors of the Laserline company WBC.
