The 7th Bifo – Bending Forum of the Chair of Forming Technology at the University of Siegen will take place on March 5, 9 and 10, 2026. The specialist event will highlight drivers of industrial transformation in bending and forming technology.
The Biegeforum 2026 combines a virtual scientific conference with an in-person day in Siegen. In terms of content, the forum is divided into three subject areas: Mobility in transition, flexible manufacturing technologies and digital intelligence in production. The focus will be on new vehicle and body concepts, adaptive production systems, additive and flexible forming processes and the use of digitalization and artificial intelligence along the process chain.
The kick-off will be an online conference with scientific presentations on March 5, 2026. At March 9 will be followed by a “Come Together” in the laboratory of the Chair of Forming Technology with demonstrations of current research projects. The conference day on March 10 will feature presentations from the industry, exhibitor pitches and a trade exhibition.
