Whether welding flux, systems or application technology: Deloro supplies smart solutions with a system for build-up welding. At Schweissen & Schneiden 2025, the company will be demonstrating how over one hundred years of accumulated materials expertise and its own production input can be used to create genuine 360° added value for customers, which is a targeted response to the shortage of skilled workers.

Deloro Wear Solutions will be presenting itself as a partner for wear protection solutions at Schweissen & Schneiden in Essen from September 15 to 19, 2025. In Hall 2, Stand A44, the company will be demonstrating how coordinated welding systems and filler materials based on cobalt and nickel ensure greater efficiency, durability and process reliability.

Deloro not only supplies machines and corresponding materials, but also uses them on a daily basis in its own component production: This 360° view allows the company to respond precisely to customer requirements – from the selection of materials to the development of suitable welding parameters.

“Customers benefit from solutions that have been tried and tested in practice and are ready for immediate use,” explains Jasmin Lang, Director Welding Material & Equipment. “Our strength lies in the combination of materials expertise and application experience.”

Automated technology meets process reliability

At the trade fair, Deloro will be demonstrating, among other things, how process reliability and increased efficiency are possible even in the face of a shortage of skilled workers. The focus will be on the company’s consulting expertise. With many years of experience in mechanical engineering and comprehensive knowledge of materials, Deloro supports its customers in the selection and integration of suitable build-up welding solutions – including automation through pre-programmed welding profiles and intuitive user interfaces for systems.

“Particularly in an industry that is heavily dependent on the expertise of its skilled workers, our automated solutions help to safeguard processes and compensate for bottlenecks. The systems can also be operated efficiently by less experienced personnel,” emphasizes Jasmin Lang. Another focus of the trade fair appearance is on the broad portfolio of materials. With powders, wires, rods and electrodes based on cobalt and nickel – including the Stellite, Tribaloy, Nistelle and Deloro Alloys brands – Deloro offers proven solutions for wear and corrosion protection in a wide range of applications and thus appeals to both manufacturing companies and contract service providers.

With around 40,000 expected visitors and over 800 exhibitors, Schweissen & Schneiden is considered the most important trade fair in its sector worldwide. For Deloro, this presence is therefore a valuable opportunity to present current developments and help shape trends. “As a specialist in build-up welding, the trade fair is a central platform for us to present our developments and engage in a direct exchange with users,” summarizes Jasmin Lang.
