From degreasing and deburring to classic component cleaning and ultra-fine or high-purity applications – the solutions presented by the exhibitors at this year’s Parts2clean are just as diverse as the tasks in the industry. In addition, the attractive supporting program of the 21st leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning enables visitors to generate know-how for the reliable, economical and sustainable implementation of their individual cleaning tasks. Parts2clean will take place from October 7 to 9, 2025 at the Stuttgart Exhibition Centre (Germany).

The quality and flawless functioning of products depends crucially on the cleanliness of individual components. This not only makes parts cleaning a value-adding factor in all industrial sectors, but also makes the good and easy cleanability of components a prerequisite for the implementation of new product developments. On the one hand, the aim is to achieve defined cleanliness specifications in a stable and economical manner, while on the other hand, parts cleaning must be designed to be more energy and resource efficient due to stricter climate protection requirements. This presents companies with new challenges in many respects. In order to remain competitive in the future, it is important not only to know the current and future requirements for the surface quality of workpieces in the various industrial sectors, but also to implement solutions for improved sustainability and greater cost-effectiveness in parts cleaning.

In addition, it is more important than ever to ensure that cleaned parts are packaged and transported cleanly. “With the world’s most comprehensive and up-to-date range of solutions for all areas of industrial parts cleaning, parts2clean is the ideal information and procurement platform for this,” reports Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin, Project Director at Deutsche Messe AG. This is also reflected in the fact that all international market and technology leaders will be represented at the leading international trade fair for industrial parts and surface cleaning at the Stuttgart Exhibition Center from October 7 to 9, 2025.

Innovations, trends and knowledge to solve the challenges

“Many of the companies use their presence at the trade fair to present new and further developed solutions,” adds Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin. Therefore, it is of course the exhibitors’ presentations that make a visit to the trade fair a must for future-oriented companies. “But that’s not all – the sophisticated supporting programme at this year’s Parts2clean also offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise on how to optimize parts cleaning in terms of cleanliness, cost-effectiveness and energy and resource efficiency,” notes the Project Director. Cleaning trends in high-tech and growth sectors such as the semiconductor industry and its suppliers, vacuum technology, aerospace, the defense industry, measurement and analysis technology, medical and pharmaceutical technology, sensor technology, new mobility and electronics will also be discussed. The integrated “p2c.Expertforum”, whose technical coordination is carried out by the Fraunhofer Cleaning division and the German Industrial Parts Cleaning Association (FiT), has been an internationally sought-after source of knowledge for many years due to its character as an advanced training event.

The simultaneously translated (German <> English) Presentations by high-ranking experts from industry and associations as well as from science and research will be divided into a total of eleven subject areas over the three days. The agenda includes the basics of industrial cleaning processes and presentations on innovative products and services as well as research highlights from the industry. Current developments, requirements and benchmark applications will be discussed in sessions on topics such as sustainability and the circular economy, applications, challenges and solutions in the high-purity sector and testing and analyzing cleaned surfaces. Another topic area will deal with combined or extended processes and procedures such as deburring and cleaning in one process and the functionalization of surfaces through laser processing.

The special show “Process Chain Technical Cleanliness”, organized jointly with the CEC (Cleaning Excellence Center), looks at cleaning together with the surrounding production processes. It gives visitors the opportunity to follow the path to clean components step by step and thus provides impetus for company-specific solutions.

One of the highlights of this year’s supporting program is the presentation of the 4th FiT2clean Award on the last day of the trade fair. The FiT awards the innovation prize, which is endowed with 10,000 euros, annually for outstanding achievements and new solutions to current challenges in industrial component cleaning.
“Before the winner of this year’s award is chosen, all three finalists will present their developments,” explains Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin.
