Kai Klenk is the new Technical Managing Director at H.P. Kaysser GmbH + Co KG. Together with Achim Hinterkopf, who will become CEO and Spokesman of the Management Board, the 39-year-old technical business economist has been managing the business of the medium-sized family company since July 1.
“With the new management team of Achim Hinterkopf and Kai Klenk, I am placing responsibility in good hands. This way, our company will continue to be successful in the future,” emphasizes outgoing Managing Director Thomas Kaysser, who remains the main shareholder of H.P. Kaysser GmbH + Co KG. After 45 years with primary responsibility for the family business, which was founded in 1947, the founder’s son is retiring. He will continue to be associated with the company as a member of the advisory board. His focus will also be on the social projects that have always been part of the company’s DNA.
Achim Hinterkopf, Commercial Director since 2010, has been the new CEO and Spokesman of the Management Board since July 1. The new Chief Technical Officer (CTO) is Kai Klenk, a technical business economist. The 39-year-old is an H.P. Kaysser native. His career began in 2001 with an apprenticeship as a fitter at the company. At 21, Klenk is the youngest head of department in the company. Through numerous extra-occupational qualifications, including a Bachelor of Engineering degree, the Stuttgart native has proven not only his perseverance, but also his ability to work in a team and his commitment to being a resourceful solution provider in metal and sheet metal processing. “I want to continue to read customers with my heart, mind and full commitment and develop clever and innovative solutions for them,” is Klenk’s motto. Lothar Weber (COO) as Production Manager and Frank Niedermaier (CSO) as Sales Manager will remain authorized signatories.
New dual leadership focuses on consistency and solutions
Achim Hinterkopf, a 51-year-old economist with corporate experience, has been with H.P. Kaysser for 16 years and is also responsible for strategy and digital matters. The new dual leadership emphasizes that H.P. Kaysser is first and foremost a service provider for production-oriented solutions, which then uses the production capacity of a high-performance machine park and highly qualified personnel to reliably and reliably manufacture the resulting products in the desired quantities.
