When looking for high-quality plates for toolmaking, the customer will quickly find what he is looking for at Meusburger, despite an extensive selection. Thanks to a sophisticated user guide, he can quickly find what he needs, and thanks to a large stock, the goods are delivered quickly.
With over 30 material qualities stored on an area of 2.5 football pitches and a high proportion of in-house production, Meusburger aims to guarantee quality, process and supply reliability. “If you are looking for high-quality plates that guarantee you process reliability, then Meusburger is the right choice for you.
Quality is a top priority for us, which is why 100 percent of our boards are manufactured in-house in Austria,” explains Managing Director Guntram Meusburger. Not only the highly automated production facilities, but also the thoroughly trained personnel guarantee quality in the μ- range.
Security of supply
All standard plates can be shipped directly from stock at Meusburger, which gives customers more flexibility. Guntram Meusburger emphasizes: “We have the largest central standard parts warehouse in the world, which guarantees a high level of supply security, especially in challenging times. Our customers thus benefit from a first-class ordering and delivery service and lose no time on their projects. In order to convey the impressive dimensions of our storage areas to all interested parties, we have made a great video. This allows all outsiders to take a look behind the scenes.”
Process reliability in your production
Even the best raw material is stress-relief annealed at Meusburger, which creates optimum conditions for further processing of the parts with low distortion. Thus, the allowance for the subsequent heat treatment can be reduced. The resulting shorter machining time and longer tool life create free capacities for other activities. Stress-relief annealing not only reduces throughput times, but also increases precision, which results in further cost savings for customers and ensures a competitive advantage in the long term.
Over 10 years of standardization in punching tool construction
The idea is almost 20 years old, but it took some more time until it was concretized and implemented. After thorough market analysis and countless customer discussions, the then Meusburger project manager Gerhard Krammel (now Head of Business Units) presented the brand new range of punching tools at Euroblech 2010. Last year, the 10th anniversary was to be celebrated at the same location – a celebration that was cancelled for well-known reasons. They made up for it at Blechexpo. It was nice anyway.
