Cutting, gouging and marking of steel, stainless steel, aluminum or copper – with the “Plasma Cutter 125” Messer Cutting Systems offers, according to its own assessment, “always the optimal solution”. The robust plasma cutter is easy to handle and ensures high productivity and quality cuts in sheet metal processing.

With its six working modes, the Plasma Cutter 125 from Messer Cutting Systems is suitable for economical manual or machine cuts up to a material thickness of 57 mm in industrial environments. With or without a locked torch button, the plasma cutter can be used to make quality cuts up to 40 mm thick and normal cut-off cuts up to 57 mm in steel, stainless steel, aluminum or copper. Gouging and hole piercing is possible up to 25 mm. Cutting grid sheets is also no problem for the Plasma Cutter 125. In addition, part numbers are quickly and easily drawn and plotted in the integrated marking mode so that individual components can be easily identified later. In all applications, the high arc stability ensures the cutting quality.

The angled premium torches are available in two lengths (6 m and 12 m hose package). In addition, the user can choose between burners for manual operation or machine use. Two power classes (125 A / 160 A) are available for automatic cutting. The Plasma Cutter can be combined with the Portacut and the new Secator 2. The high-frequency-free ignition (contact ignition) avoids interference and damage to sensitive electronic equipment in the vicinity.
Regardless of the torch length and work mode, the Plasma Cutter 125 automatically adjusts the air pressure. In the process, the air pressure system is continuously checked. This includes testing for moisture and checking the compressor. Thanks to the synergic air pressure, the service life of the wear parts is significantly extended. With the service life monitoring for the nozzle and the electrode, the maintenance of the plasma cutter can be easily planned.

When developing the Plasma Cutter 125, the focus was not only on the range of functions and the way they work, but also on user-friendliness: the torch is easy to operate via the lockable torch button, and the ergonomic torch design ensures low-fatigue working. In addition, the burner can be quickly connected and removed, making transport and maintenance easy. The ergonomic user interface with OLED display enables intuitive menu navigation in seven languages, and the software can be easily updated via a USB interface.

The sturdy housing with IP 23 is impact resistant and heat resistant. Together with the non-slip feet, the design is thus ideally suited for the tough operating conditions on the construction site and in industry.
