Whether with the iQS, the new flagship in the field of MIG/MAG welding, or with the latest features in the field of cobot welding, which once again significantly increase productivity and quality in automated welding production: Lorch intends to showcase high-end welding technology at its finest at Schweissen & Schneiden – for the first time at a joint stand with the European Daihen Group.

One of the objects is the iQS MIG/MAG inverter platform, which delivers high welding performance for industrial welding. A completely newly developed, robust inverter not only offers the welder control stability with a perfect arc.
Thanks to the intelligent Smart Process Control Engine, welding processes can now be developed and transferred to the system even faster. In addition, extended networking means that new welding processes or test versions of characteristic curves can be easily uploaded via Ethernet or WLAN in the future.
A clearly structured and well laid out Smart Cockpit ensures quick and easy operation and the newly developed RCS technology (Rapid Current Shutdown) also ensures a particularly clean process with little spatter, which significantly reduces reworking time.
In addition to the proven speed processes such as SpeedPulse XT, SpeedArc and SpeedTwin, SpeedWave is now available, a welding process specially developed for aluminum welding that specifically prevents the formation of pores. The iQ-LMS push-pull torch, which welds precisely and cleanly even with long hosepacks thanks to constant wire guidance, is also tailor-made for the iQS.
The focus will also be on the Lorch Cobot Welding Solutions with numerous new functions. Already very successful on the market since 2016 with the welding cobot and constantly being further developed, Lorch will be demonstrating innovative application tools such as TouchSense, SeamTracking and SeamPilot at the trade fair, which significantly simplify seam tracking during collaborative welding and considerably increase the efficiency of cobot welding.
The brand new feature Multilayer, which makes it extremely easy to weld high-quality weld seams precisely, efficiently and with minimal effort, even in several layers, will be celebrating its trade fair premiere. Only a single seam needs to be taught and then the Cobot automatically calculates the ideal torch position and the optimum angle for each layer.

In addition, Lorch Cobot Welding Solutions can now be combined with the new iQS inverter platform, enabling an optimum combination of high performance in MIG/MAG welding and the latest features in the field of collaborative welding.
The new APR 900 Plus generation of helmets will also be at the trade fair, offering welders even greater comfort and safety thanks to an enlarged field of vision, numerous additional functions and certification in accordance with the latest safety standards. And also on board: the LMS and iQ-LMS Performance torches, which are characterized by good ergonomics, strong performance, high productivity and sustainability.
The popular MicorMIG series, including its latest successor, the MicorMIG mobile, which combines the proven strengths of the MicorMIG such as a stable arc, simple operation and upgradeability with the flexibility of a mobile solution, can also be seen at the trade fair.
For the first time, Lorch will be exhibiting at the trade fair in Essen together with the Daihen Group, to which the company has belonged since 2023. Lorch Schweißtechnik as well as OTC Daihen Europe, Daihen Varstroj, Femitec, Rolan Robotics BV and Lasotech Systems will be represented on a total area of 700 square meters with state-of-the-art welding technology as well as innovative solutions from the fields of automation and robotics.
