With effect from February 1st, Jörg Mosser, until then Sales Manager Europe of Messer Cutting Systems, has taken over the management of Messer Cutting Systems (MCS), Groß-Umstadt, and is the new CEO Europe. Along with this step, Messer Cutting Systems intends to strengthen and expand its position as market leader and solution provider in sheet metal processing.
Jörg Mosser takes over the new role from John Emholz, Global CEO Messer Cutting Systems, who had been managing the Groß-Umstadt site and Europe on an interim basis in addition to his global duties.
Before joining Messer Cutting Systems, Jörg Mosser worked as an electrical engineer in mechanical and plant engineering and in various commercial positions. Jörg Mosser has been part of the Messer Cutting Systems Europe team since 2007. Starting in investment management, he then headed sales from 2012.
“Jörg Mosser brings with him excellent prerequisites for his future tasks: On the one hand, of course, he has the technical and business skills, but even more important is his long service with the company. He knows the team inside out and knows what’s important,” says John Emholz. In addition to managing the Groß-Umstadt site, Jörg Mosser will continue to drive forward the transformation of Messer Cutting Systems into a modern, customer-oriented solution provider for the sheet metal working industry.
