Focus on sustainability and personal contact

Feedback from customers showed a strong interest in software and automation solutions as well as in Bystronic’s sustainability efforts. By equipping its systems with features and energy-saving components, Bystronic helps customers to make their production even more efficient and thus more sustainable.
Despite significantly fewer visitors at the trade show in general, interest at Bystronic was very pleasing and stable compared to the last event in 2018. In addition to the main visitor groups from Europe, even customer groups from the USA, Australia/New Zealand, South Africa or South Korea found their way to Hanover.

Behavior positive for investments

“Both visitors and exhibitors were excited to meet face-to-face again and feel the pulse of the world’s leading trade fair for sheet metal working. Despite fewer visitors, the level of leads and orders is only slightly below that of 2018. Despite the difficult and uncertain economic and geopolitical environment, most visitors were positive about new investments,” Johan Elster, Chief Sales Officer of the Bystronic Group, looks back.
