Cordless tools are indispensable for flexible work on roofs and facades. As a specialist for cutting and joining sheet metal, Trumpf therefore offers a wide range of battery-powered electric tools: Slitting shears, shears, nibblers, profile nibblers and joining presses.

Trumpf cutting and joining tools are not only characterized by innovative technology, productivity and ergonomics. The CAS battery technology used, which stands for the “Cordless Alliance System” initiated by Metabo, is also helpful for many users. This means: one battery for currently 25 manufacturers and 280 machines.

With the cross-manufacturer CAS system, roof and facade professionals, for example, can use the same battery in a wide range of power tools and the identical charger – for example, in circular saws, nailers, drilling and blind riveting machines, Trumpf slitting shears and nibblers. This is not only economical, but also sustainable, since in total significantly fewer batteries and chargers are needed and used.

Trumpf will also be demonstrating its TruTool TPC 165 panel cutter live in an enclosed booth at the trade show. The special tool cuts polyurethane-foamed sandwich panels with a thickness of up to 165 millimeters with dimensional accuracy.

As hall construction professionals confirm, openings for windows and doors in particular, as well as other notches, cannot be produced with comparable quality and speed with any other tool. Since the TPC 165 does not require a starting hole and weighs less than ten kilograms, even subsequent work on panels that have already been installed is possible.

Trade visitors to Dach&Holz 2022 in Cologne from 15 to 18 February 2022 will be able to see how tradesmen can work particularly easily and productively with it at Stand 8.307 in Hall 8. There they will not only be able to see the tools live in action, but also to test them themselves on request and with brief instruction.
