Biax, a leading solution provider for industrial deburring and finishing, has significantly expanded its product range of drives for flexible shafts.
With the introduction of the MB 10 G, Biax presents a machine in the entry-level segment for light deburring and sanding work with 4 mm shafts. The MB 10 G offers 400 W power at up to 20,000 revolutions, can be attached to a suspended gallows and can optionally be operated with a table controller and foot pedal. In the medium-power segment, the MB 40 G has an output of 1.0 KW and is available as a 230 V or 400 V version. This model has been specially designed for processing and polishing metals as well as for milling work in tool and mold making. Thanks to the infinitely variable speed from 1,000 to 20,000 rpm and its impressive pulling power in the low speed range, the MB 40 G sets new standards. Its compact motor also makes it easy to transport without compromising on performance. Even more powerful is the MB 45 G with 2.0 KW, which is only available as a 400 V version. It can be used with flap discs and polishing discs up to 160 mm in diameter from 1,000 to 15,000 rpm. Both models, MB 40 G and MB 45 G, are optionally available with table controller and / or foot pedal. They can be operated suspended or on a table or mobile stand. The Biax range is rounded off at the top by the impressive MB 60 G (400 V). This machine has been developed for the toughest and most demanding industrial applications and, with its 3.7 kW at speeds of 1,500 to 12,000 rpm, offers power in abundance. All drives in the Biax range are equipped with an M10 threaded connection for the Biax shafts, which are characterized by their high quality and reliability. By the way: the Biax brand has been around for 104 years. The brand name is derived from the term “flexible shaft”. Web: www.biax.de
