With the redesigned Primecut 53.40-3, RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau is expanding its line of shears to include a model with a working length of 4,150 mm. The machine uses an oscillating cut technology that enables precise cuts and exceptionally straight cut edges. The shallow cutting angle ensures distortion-free results, even with delicate materials.
The manufacturer also promises long service life for the blades. The cut pieces can be sorted forward or backward even during the cutting process. A sheet metal holding system supports the material flow. In the new 4-meter version, sheets with a thickness of up to 2.0 mm can now be cut. With this redesign, the Primecut features new details, such as brighter LED cutting chamber lighting with integrated finger protection and a pop-up hold-down device.
