The special feature of the self-clamping Lukas PSG and PSR sanding sheets is the “quick change disc”. Thanks to this quick-change system (Quick Change Discs) made of metal or plastic for the PSG sanding sheets or a plastic thread for the PSR sanding sheets, the sanding sheet can be easily and securely attached to the corresponding sanding sheet holder with a quick twist.
PSG and PSR consist of a flexible backing (abrasive cloth or fleece) and are available with grit qualities such as aluminum oxide (NK), silicon carbide (SIC), zirconium corundum (ZK), ceramic (Ceramic) and in many different grit sizes and diameters, depending on the intended application. Thanks to the integrated plastic thread, they can be screwed onto the appropriate carrier in practically no time at all and center themselves automatically. This saves time and increases process reliability.
The PSR sanding sheets are also available in different sizes, grits and variants made from robust abrasive cloth with zirconia alumina or abrasive fleece with aluminium oxide and impress with their reliable sanding performance and long service life, for example when deburring, chamfering, fine sanding or processing weld seams. They are also ideal for removing rust, paint or scratches and improving surface quality. Uniform contact with little effort ensures a clean sanding pattern.
The system is complemented by the GTR abrasive blade carrier, which is supplied in medium hardness and is suitable for almost all standard applications.
