Fagor Arrasate and Dreher Automation had previously worked together on high-profile projects in Germany, Korea, China and other countries. Both companies share the same vision of the future and a similar corporate culture, which is conducive to cooperation, so it seems only logical to act as a single entity focused entirely on delivering work of excellent quality and achieving complete customer satisfaction.

With the new series presented at the BlechExpo, the customer has the possibility to adjust the configuration of the press to his needs. He can choose between conventional (eccentric/link drive) and servo presses, and a number of options are available in terms of control, tooling, peripherals, accessibility, etcetera. As far as automation is concerned, configuration is extremely flexible and the system can be adapted to the specific requirements of each customer, always within the limits of the standard 6,300 kN, 8,000 kN or 10,000 kN versions.

Also with regard to customer service, the two locations in Germany (Hilpoltstein and Sulz a. N.) with the experience of both manufacturers, supported by four main areas of activity, offer an enormous advantage. The technical service in the customer’s facilities guarantees the support of the employees during commissioning and maintenance measures requested by the customer. Repairs and spare parts are extremely important for machine utilization and meeting delivery deadlines. In this context, short response times are crucial for the customer.

The training and consulting aspects were also taken into account in the design of the new product range: On request, customers can receive programs tailored to them and their employees, such as advice on environmental issues or on improving productivity.
Finally, machine equipment updates and upgrades also help to optimize existing equipment and improve its performance.
With regard to Industry 4.0, all equipment is connectable, under the strictest security and data protection standards. Smart Connect is the name of the application for press maintenance. Smart Connect allows you to monitor key parameters, make decisions and program necessary maintenance. The new series is also prepared to provide production parameters (times, reference variables, etc.) as precise information.

Fagor Arrasate and Dreher Automation are aware of the vulnerability of our environment and the need to protect it. That is why the entire Press2Perform series has been designed for optimized energy consumption and maximum CO2 savings.
