Casper Benteler has taken control of the Benteler Group. This was previously held by Hubertus Benteler Ges.m.b.H., Salzburg, and Dr. Ing. E.h. Helmut Benteler GmbH, Paderborn. The details of the transaction are confidential.
Casper Benteler is the son of long-time CEO Hubertus Benteler and represents the fifth generation of the entrepreneurial family. Founded in 1876 by Carl Benteler, the Group now has more than 20,000 employees at around 90 locations worldwide.
Casper Benteler will not assume any operational function in the day-to-day business of the Group, but will be a member of the Supervisory Board. At the same time, he remains CEO of CAB Holding GmbH, the new holding company of the Benteler Group. In this function, he is responsible for the strategic coordination of the Benteler Group with its partner companies, including Benteler Trading International AG and Benteler Mobility GmbH. He also continues to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Holon Autonomous Mobility AG.
