The Cidan Machinery Group, a leading global provider of sheet metal processing solutions, presents further innovations for the TD double bender from Thalmann. These innovative additional functions make sheet metal profile production even more flexible, even safer and even more efficient.
The new “Multi-Head” makes automatic side loading of the machine with metal strips even more efficient than before:
➢ Faster loading: 4 metal strips can be fed in sideways at the same time in one operation (over 40 percent faster than with single feed).
➢ Precision and technology: An ultrasonic sensor is used to precisely measure the height and position of each row of metal strips.
➢ Versatile loading: Both narrow strips (minimum width 90 mm) and wider strips of sheet metal are fed quickly, safely and efficiently.
➢ Increased loading capacity: With 16 suction cups, which increase the suction force by around 30 percent, materials with a thickness of up to 2 mm can be processed with ease.
The Cidan Machinery Group is always striving to develop innovative technologies – the new multi-fast loading head is another good example of this.

➢ 1: QUICK LOADER: Automatic and efficient
Depending on the flatness, the new quick-loading system can also process narrow strips of sheet metal in automatic mode. The entire processing procedure is thus simplified and accelerated.
➢ 2: VACUUM GRIPPER: Precision and safety
In automatic mode, the vacuum gripper can be used for sheet metal profile heights from 30 mm. This new solution not only increases flexibility and precision in profile production, but also improves safety as the operator is outside the danger zone.

The safety of machine operators is our top priority. That is why the new safety system of the TD double bender offers first-class, seamless safety functions. Three high-performance scanners permanently monitor the danger zones and thus guarantee maximum safety for the operators – without any disruptive safety pillars.
