Around 2,300 exhibitors on a net area of over 118,000 square meters – Wire and Tube 2024 cast a mighty shadow ahead. For the first time, the innovations of the industry players in the exhibition halls will be flanked by an extensive supporting program tailored to the market on all five days of the trade fair.
Premiere for the “Wire & Tube BME Buyers’ Day” on the Forum Stage in Hall 1 A47 on Monday, April 15. Everything about supply chain laws, procurement and logistics, transparently prepared and presented by the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics.
On Tuesday, the “Wire & Tube Convention 2024” will follow at the same location with a wide range of exhibitor insights into the topic of green steel and its implementation in the company’s own production halls. The organizer is the Stahl-Kommunikation agency.
The “SawExpo Forum” will present news and trends from the multifaceted field of cutting and machining technologies in daily snapshots from Monday in Hall 6 G07. The organizer is SawExpo GmbH.
Vulkan Verlag is organizing a changing programme with different focal points on the Forum stage in Hall 1 A47 and in conference rooms 14/15. Whether topics such as “Destination Green Summit by ecoMetals”, “H2 Summit by EcoMetals” or the “Green Jobs Forum” – exciting content prepared in an entertaining way and the major topic of green jobs should attract visitors.
In the “Special Area Plastic Tubes & Pipes” (Hall 1 C35), exhibitors present the entire value chain in the field of plastic tubes and demonstrate impressive processing options and methods for plastic tubes.
At the “BDS Forum” (Hall 1 A47), the Federal Association of the German Steel Trade will provide information on global trade developments in the steel sector. The effects of current economic policy trends on the steel trade are analyzed here by experts. The steel traders will also discuss procurement and sales markets, economic conditions and the major topic of digitalization and AI.
The “ITA Forum” is dedicated to the global economic challenges facing the industry in presentations (also on the Forum stage in Hall 1 A47) and draws up concrete impact scenarios for the pipe industry.
The last two days of the fair are dedicated to high potentials, i.e. promising specialists and junior staff. Whether trainees, students or potential job changers; in Hall 6 G07 they will all have the chance to find out about professional training and entry opportunities in the diverse field of separation technologies in numerous presentations and information slots. Also new are the daily digital “EcoMetal and high potential trails”, where visitors can create their own individual tour online or via QR code to exhibitors from the EcoMetals (sustainable and resource/environmentally friendly production) and High Potentials (present themselves as attractive trainers/employers) sectors.
