DeburringExpo will be held as a presence event at the Karlsruhe exhibition centre from October 12th to 14th. Users from various industries with a wide range of tasks in the production steps of deburring and the manufacture of precision surfaces will finally be able to talk directly to suppliers again and get to know their new and further developed solutions live. The integrated specialist forum with simultaneously translated presentations (German <> English) also enables the important transfer of knowledge on current developments and trends in these manufacturing areas.
Whether in the automotive and supplier industry, mechanical and plant engineering, medical and pharmaceutical technology, measuring, precision and sensor technology, tool and mould making or energy and environmental technology – demand is booming again in many industrial sectors. Furthermore, this year’s leading trade fair will also focus on the topic of “Cleaning after deburring”. The “AM Parts Finishing” theme park is dedicated to the post-processing of additively manufactured components. Solutions for removing support structures and residual powder, for smoothing and polishing surfaces and for preparing components for subsequent heat treatment or coating will be presented.
In order to produce faster, better and more economically, the automation and digitalization of deburring and surface finishing processes is gaining importance across all industries.
For this purpose, DeburringExpo presents innovative and practical solutions with the theme park “Automated Deburring with Industrial Robots”. Among other things, a compact robot cell will be used to demonstrate live all the steps from component feeding, position detection, handling, burr detection by camera or sensor technology and the deburring process with integrated tool change to quality assurance and final placement of the component in product carriers.
