Bettina Steingruber has been the managing director of Trumpf Maschinen Austria GmbH & Co. KG since July 2026. The company, headquartered in Pasching, is the Trumpf Group’s global center of excellence for bending technology. She succeeds Thilo Preß, who had led the Austrian subsidiary since 2021. He has moved to the company’s headquarters in Ditzingen, where he will serve as Managing Director of Sales and Services.

Steingruber has been with Trumpf since 2006. After starting out in the Controlling department at the company’s headquarters in Ditzingen, she headed the Finance & Controlling division in Austria from 2015 to 2022. She then served as head of finance for Trumpf USA at the Farmington location until 2025. Since September 2025, she has been responsible for global agile management in the Machine Tools division in Ditzingen.

Trumpf Maschinen Austria GmbH & Co. KG in Pasching is the Trumpf Group’s development and production center for bending technology. The company’s locations include Pasching, Teningen in Germany, and Lonigo in Italy. In Austria, the company employs approximately 700 people.
Bending machines and welding systems are developed and manufactured at the Pasching site. The systems are used in industrial manufacturing worldwide, including in the automotive industry. In addition, the site serves as a sales and service branch for the company’s products on the Austrian market.
