Wikus receives research seal again

After the years 2014, 2016 and 2018, Wikus Sägenfabrik Wilhelm H. Kullmann GmbH & Co. KG receives for the fourth time in a row the research seal Innovative through Research, which is awarded by the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft for research and development work.

This seal is awarded by the Stifterverband to companies that make a decisive contribution to Germany as a high-tech location through their research and development as innovation drivers.

This award shows that we, as a technology leader in the industry of saw band manufacturers, conduct excellent research and development and develop solutions around the sawing process for our customers through constant innovations and further developments, emphasizes Dr.-Ing. Patrick Gleim, Head of Research and Development. We are very pleased to have received this award for the fourth time in a row.

Year after year, Wikus Sawmill invests millions in research and development in order to maintain and expand its technological leadership and to develop customer- and market-oriented solutions. In addition to internal research and development, Wikus cooperates with numerous partners, such as universities, research institutes and suppliers.
