From September 24 to October 8, the BLM Group will open the doors of its plant in Levico Terme in northern Italy for its in-house exhibition “Innova 2025”. This year’s event will once again be all about innovation and technology.

As usual with the company’s in-house exhibitions, Innova 2025 will offer visitors unique opportunities to see its latest developments in an ever-expanding and evolving portfolio of solutions up close. These include work islands that seamlessly integrate different technologies to optimize production processes. The BLM Group will also be showcasing its latest innovations in the fields of sheet metal laser cutting and laser welding.

In the area of tube bending, the Italian group of companies will be presenting new solutions that enable customers to change their bending tools more easily and quickly. Finally, it will be demonstrating the precision that can now be achieved in laser cutting with fiber lasers for large-diameter tubes.

The main theme of this year’s event is “Turn on the Light”. “The concept of so-called dark factories has been gaining attention for years – the rapidly advancing automation of industrial processes and the advance of AI are increasingly enabling fully automated production without direct human intervention. Depending on the situation, such factories may not even need to be illuminated. Hence the name dark factories. But the absence of light does not mean the absence of intelligence. On the contrary. Dark factories are consistently trimmed for maximum efficiency and productivity. And behind this lies the elementary presence of people. That is why we have chosen the motto “Turn on the Light” for Innova 2025. We understand this to mean putting the human vision at the center. Because behind automated systems there are always people who have developed, implemented and optimized them,” explains BLM Group Germany Managing Director Andreas Köster.
