The 25th edition of Mecspe will take place at the Bologna Fiere exhibition center from March 3 to 5, 2027. Based on last year’s visitor and exhibitor numbers, the trade show aims to expand its role as a platform for the manufacturing industry and international exchange, according to the trade show organizer Senaf.
The trade show is aimed at companies, experts, and stakeholders in the manufacturing industry. The focus is on technology, manufacturing expertise, and collaboration along industrial value chains.
In 2026, more than 2,000 exhibitors and 60,581 trade visitors attended. According to the organizer, international participation also continued to rise, particularly from German-speaking countries. Among others, a delegation of ten companies from Baden-Württemberg was in attendance. They showcased systems for assembly and production, sensor technology, control technology, mechatronics, and digital on-demand technology. Their participation was supported by the German-Italian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Italy) and sponsored by the Rhine-Neckar Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK Rhein-Neckar).
