Arku Maschinenbau GmbH in Baden-Baden has been named “Supplier of the Year 2022” by its customer Kirchhoff Automotive. The two companies have enjoyed a good working relationship for many years.

In the category “Capital & Tooling” Arku could convince. Due to the current political situation, the award ceremony was held for the first time this year in an online ceremony. On the Arkus side, Albert Reiss (managing partner), Hans-Peter Pflüger (former senior employee), Franck Hirschmann (key account manager) and Harald Kohl (project manager), accepted the award. With this award, Kirchhoff Automotive especially recognizes Arku’s reliability and quality. This has also been reflected in a good cooperation for more than 20 years: The conveyor systems from Baden-Baden have been proving their worth in the production halls of Kirchhoff Automotive since 2002.

“We are united by the typical corporate culture of German medium-sized companies,” says Klaus Lawory, Vice President Procurement at Kirchhoff Automotive. “This includes clear concepts and communication, well-structured processes, appropriate employees and global activities.” Albert Reiss, managing partner of Arku Maschinenbau, adds: “This award is of particular importance to us. It shows that high quality, lasting innovation and strong customer orientation pay off greatly for both sides in a long-term cooperation. Such values are clearly part of Arku’s DNA.”

Today, Arku systems are in operation in Kirchhoff Automotive factories on three continents. The global presence of Arkus Sales and Service is also an important cornerstone of international cooperation. Through the international subsidiaries in the USA and China, the customer also benefits from the fact that a competent contact person is always available. From its three locations in Baden-Baden (Germany), Cincinnati (USA) and Kunshan (China), Arku also ensures a rapid and reliable supply of spare parts and maintenance of the systems.
