Fronius is now setting the course for further growth at its German locations: First, the provider of photovoltaic, welding and battery charging technologies will significantly expand its national headquarters in Neuhof-Dorfborn. Secondly, there are two new branches in North Rhine-Westphalia and in Northern Germany. These offer sufficient space and an optimal environment for responding to customer wishes in an even more focused manner.

Fronius Germany is on course for expansion and continues to expand its national activities. “We want to align our German locations in such a way that we can support customers in the best possible way with efficient and sustainable solutions,” explains Ewald Eisner, Managing Director of Fronius Deutschland GmbH. “With the planned enhancements, we’ll be able to respond more quickly, but we’ll also have more opportunities to offer comprehensive services.”

The largest project is the extension of the state headquarters in Neuhof-Dorfborn (Fulda district). An additional 1,265 square meters of usable space will be created here; the offices will provide space for 82 employees with meeting and retreat rooms. But there are also so-called offices – a mixture of café and office. The new premises are scheduled to be ready for occupancy in the first quarter of 2024.

More customer proximity and modern equipment

In northern Germany, Fronius Deutschland will move into a new branch office with a total area of 1,130 square meters in Winsen an der Luhe, southeast of Hamburg, by the end of the year. About two-thirds of this is planned for application technology and service as well as storage, while the remainder will be used for offices and social rooms. The sales and service activities of the previous teams in Oldenburg and Glinde will be merged there. “With the merger, we are joining forces and entering the future with a strengthened structure,” explains Ewald Eisner. “We have the necessary space and environment in Winsen for our planned growth. The entire region will benefit from this.”

The measures in North Rhine-Westphalia have already been completed: Fronius has relocated the Siegen site to Meinerzhagen (Sauerland). In the new building with a total area of 1,080 square meters, the welding experts are pleased with the high-quality equipment and the spacious technical areas for robotic applications.
The new branches in Winsen and Meinerzhagen enable Fronius Germany to be closer to its customers thanks to the convenient transport links. In addition, comprehensive service is easier to implement with the optimized application technology and the enlarged area: “Both locations offer enough space for customer-specific training and for repairs, that was important to us,” adds Ewald Eisner.
