Remmert will be presenting a new system for the fully automated handling of unsorted long goods weighing up to 300 kg at the Logimat 2026 trade fair from March 24 to 26 in Stuttgart. It combines industrial robotics, 3D vision and artificial intelligence and enables the separation of bars, tubes and profiles.
AI-supported image recognition identifies the position of packaged and unpackaged long goods in load carriers. Depending on the application, vacuum, magnetic or gripper tools are used. The system can be fully integrated into Remmert long goods warehouses and is suitable for material provision at production machines or for picking customer orders, among other things.
Remmert will also be presenting its next-generation software concept. The focus is on the newly developed Warehouse Management System (WMS), which combines warehouse management and material flow control in an integrated platform and simplifies the integration of third-party systems.
