Zeller+Gmelin will showcase innovative chemical products for metalworking as well as cleaning media for the production of cylindrical and prismatic cell housings for electrified vehicles at The Battery Show Europe trade fair from May 23 to 25. Together with exhibitors from over 50 countries, Zeller+Gmelin will present the latest technologies for the production of electric and hybrid vehicles and their components.
“Visitors to the Battery Show in Stuttgart will be able to see for themselves our extensive expertise and innovative products, and how we as a lubricant manufacturer are actively shaping electromobility with our products and solutions,” says Christian Stapper, Product Manager at Zeller+Gmelin. “From initial forming and cutting to subsequent cleaning and preservation, we can provide the full portfolio of products for the manufacture of cylindrical and prismatic der cell housings.”
As a long-standing supplier of engine and transmission oils for the automotive sector under the Divinol brand, Zeller+Gmelin is a well-known partner of automotive manufacturers and Tier1 suppliers. Among other things, the Swabians are a supplier of two-stroke oils, monograde and multigrade oils for commercial vehicles, passenger cars and motorcycles.
The Eislingen-based company can also look back on more than 70 years of experience in special lubricants for forming technology and sheet metal working. “We are proud to be the first company to have received approval from all German automotive manufacturers for our prelubes for deep drawing,” emphasizes Christian Stapper, Product Manager at Zeller+Gmelin.
In addition to forming and cutting oils, the wide product range also includes cleaners as well as hot melts and lubricating greases, which are used in various steel and aluminum plants worldwide. With a view to increasing registration figures, Zeller+Gmelin has been preparing for the time after “Big Oil” for some time now. The increasing spread of electric motors and electric vehicles is causing profound changes and new challenges for the entire automotive industry.
Zeller+Gmelin wants to break new ground and actively meet the requirements in the field of e-mobility. For this reason, Zeller+Gmelin is researching new product approaches in the field of thermal management and will be presenting a novel, silicone-free gap filler at the Battery Show Europe 2023. In addition, the company is working on other products for thermal management, such as a battery cooling medium and a coolant for PEM fuel cells.
