Compressed air and industrial gases make laser cutting, punching, and forming more cost-effective, environmentally friendly, and safer. As a new exhibitor at Euroblech 2026, compressed air specialist Boge Compressed Air & Gas Solutions will demonstrate how sheet metal fabricators can reduce their production costs and ensure process quality.

Generating nitrogen on-site during laser cutting ensures oxide-free cut edges. The Laserpack system, developed for this purpose, consists of a nitrogen generator, a hydrogen catalyst with a refrigerated dryer, product and system tanks, a high-pressure booster, and a PED cylinder bundle for storing the nitrogen. The combination in the Laserpack of a nitrogen generator from the PN series and the H₂Kat hydrogen catalyst produces high-purity nitrogen (up to 99.999% purity, 5.0) from ambient air. The two-stage process reduces energy consumption by up to 50% compared to conventional methods.
