Especially in the steel trade and industry, high demands are made on sawing machines: precise, powerful saw cuts, frequently changing material qualities and cross-sections, easy handling and maintenance as well as unconditional occupational safety. The automatic bandsaw HBE411A Dynamic offers a package for this in the cutting range up to 510 x 410 mm.

The standard Auto-Feed-Control (AFC) feed control is a striking feature. The control software calculates the optimum settings for cutting speed and servo-controlled feed on the basis of material data provided by an extensive material database.

During sawing, the cutting forces are continuously measured at the back of the saw blade and the feed rate is dynamically controlled accordingly. This effectively protects the saw band used from overloads. Tests showed that the tool life was 30 percent longer and the quality of the cut surface was also visibly better. The slight inclination of the band wheels also helps to protect the saw bands by reducing the bending alternating load.

A double vice is also standard, which securely clamps the material on both sides of the cutting channel. This favours the precision of the saw cut due to the better alignment of the material. Especially material bundles and layers, but also thin-walled tubes are optimally fixed in this way.

It does not depend on the power of the engine

Energy prices, which have been rising for years, are leading to a rethink in companies. Technological innovations and solutions are being sought to nevertheless achieve more performance with less energy input.
When designing the HBE-Dynamic series, the focus was on the use of modern and application-oriented drives. Powerful hydraulics are by no means at odds with energy efficiency, as energy requirements have been reduced by over 30 percent compared to the predecessor model.

Functional and safe

The full enclosure of the HBE411A Dynamic not only complies with current CE directives, but also meets the growing demands for user-friendliness and occupational and environmental safety. The advantages are obvious: no contamination of the working environment and noise reduction with good visibility into the band saw at the same time thanks to large viewing windows. The maintenance-friendly concept allows easy saw blade change and good accessibility for maintenance or cleaning work.

The HBE-Dynamic series is available in four model types 261A, 321A, 411A and 511A with corresponding cutting range and thus covers a wide range of applications in industry and steel trade.
