If sheets, profiles or tubes cannot be economically brought to the machine for edge processing, the machine comes to the sheet. Trumpf’s Power Tools Business Field has several solutions for just that.
The small Trumpf business focuses on various tools for edge generation, which include the productive TruTool TKF 700 and TKF 1500 bevellers. Both machines work according to the so-called butt joint principle and produce oxide-free as well as geometrically uniform edges. On their basis, welded joints with the highest strength can be reliably produced. At 5.3 kilograms, the handy TKF 700 is particularly light and suitable for bevel lengths of up to seven millimeters. The TKF 1500 weighs 16.5 kilograms, but produces bevel lengths of up to 15 millimeters.
The TruTool TKA 700 and TKA 1500 edge milling cutters can also be experienced live. The fast process is free of emissions and produces not only oxide-free but also metallic bright, visually pleasing surfaces. This makes them the perfect preparation for subsequent coatings or paints.
As an important tool for users of 2D laser machines, Trumpf will also present the TruTool TSC 100 support bar cleaner. It can be used to remove the slag produced during laser cutting from the support bars – easily, cleanly and in a short time. How quickly the TSC 100 pays for itself in practical use is demonstrated by the company’s consultants using a profitability calculator fed with real customer data. A few seconds later, it displays the result.
