The PSU 450 H underfloor circular saw from Behringer Eisele cuts profiles, pipes and solid metal materials at variable mitre angles.
The PSU 450 H system circular saw from Behringer Eisele is a machine for universal use in industry and trade. Designed for cutting profiles, pipes and solid materials made of metal and comparable materials, it is specially designed for the needs of locksmiths and metalworkers. With a saw blade diameter of 450 mm, it offers a large cutting range of up to 240 x 70 mm or 390 x 30 mm and is therefore the right solution for a wide range of tasks.
The machine base consists of a robust machine frame in which the base and rotary plate with the sawing unit are embedded as a central unit. The saw unit consists of a powerful motor, a hydraulic feed cylinder and a worm helical gear unit with rotation compensation.
The mitre angle is easy to set thanks to the well thought-out design with the saw unit located at the bottom. In addition, fixed stops at ± 30°, ± 45° and 90° are provided as standard.
The material to be sawn is securely clamped by vertical and horizontal clamping units. The clamping pressure can be adjusted separately in both directions, readable via two pressure gauges.
A long-stroke cylinder with 160 mm stroke and clamping pressure monitoring clamps the material with the help of an aluminium pressure piece on both sides of the saw blade. This reduces vibrations and ensures a clean cutting surface and low tolerances. Machining allowances can therefore be almost completely dispensed with.
Safety during the sawing process is provided by a protective hood that can be swivelled upwards. It offers uncompromising work protection, but still allows a good view into the machine and does not interfere with the work.
