Hertwich Engineering GmbH in Braunau am Inn, Austria, a company of the SMS Group, has a new managing director in Gerold Keune since October 1, 2020, who also takes over the role of sales manager.
As a worldwide innovation leader in recycling technologies for aluminium scrap and plants in the aluminium industry, Hertwich Engineering regularly presents new developments and improvements of existing products. A path that the new managing director also lives and drives forward.
Gerold Keune, who was previously responsible for sales and processing at KHD, a global supplier of machinery and equipment for the cement industry, will use his more than 25 years of experience in international mechanical and plant engineering to place particular emphasis on expanding Hertwich Engineering’s technological leadership and on stepping up internationalization and service activities.
