The measuring equipment supplier GOM, Braunschweig, Germany, offers several webinars in January on the topic of “Efficient Quality Control in Toolmaking”. On 26 January 2021, the focus will be on process optimisation in the sheet metal industry.
In the production of tool blanks in sheet metal forming, machine running times can be reduced by 50 percent with the help of 3D measuring technology. In the webinar “Accelerated Processes in Sheet Metal Forming”, participants will learn which systems can be used for efficient measurement of components and for quality control during series production. The resulting highly precise and traceable data form the basis for the evaluation of forming processes and simulations. In addition, the full-surface data enables trend analysis, motion and deformation analysis, as well as virtual assembly and surface defect analysis.
