Andritz Schuler has delivered over 800 hydraulic HFA fineblanking systems via Feintool AG. The machines are now available directly from Andritz Schuler. The Göppingen-based manufacturer is continuing its cooperation with Feintool on a new basis.
From now on, Feintool will provide process and tooling expertise as required. Andritz Schuler builds the HFA presses and supplies the turnkey fineblanking lines to its customers as general contractor. Two new HFA-Plus systems with 8,800 kN were already built for Feintool in the USA at the headquarters in Göppingen at the beginning of 2025, according to the German mechanical engineering company.
Andritz Schuler has used its many years of experience in the construction of fineblanking presses to incorporate a number of further developments into the new version. For example, a servo-controlled drive for the hydraulic pumps ensures a double-digit percentage improvement in energy efficiency, while at the same time increasing the number of strokes. The automation components also feature servomotors for fast and safe material transport. Last but not least, the system control with process monitoring has all the interfaces for further Industry 4.0 functions. Further improvements and customer-specific adaptations are also available.
And even after the commissioning of an HFA fineblanking press, Andritz Schuler is there for its customers as a service provider: for inspections, spare parts, advice, updates, modernizations and many other services. This also applies to existing systems from the HFA Plus and HFA Speed series. In addition to the new “HFA plus+” series, both types are still available from Andritz Schuler as new machines.
