Bosch-Rexroth will have a new CEO, Dr. Jochen Peter, from March 1, 2026. His predecessor Dr. Steffen Haack will then be responsible for development and will open up new growth areas for the company.
Dr. Jochen Peter (50) joined the Executive Board of Bosch Rexroth AG in Lohr am Main on 1 January 2026 and will become Chairman of the Executive Board on 1 March 2026 following his induction. He succeeds Dr. Steffen Haack (59), who remains a member of the divisional board. Haack will retain responsibility for development and will focus on identifying new strategic growth areas for Bosch Rexroth.

“Steffen Haack deserves great recognition for the important contribution he has made to Bosch Rexroth in recent years. As a member of the divisional board, he initiated and supported the upcoming generational change. In doing so, he has created stability and driven the further development of Bosch Rexroth,” says Dr. Tanja Rückert, Member of the Board of Management of Robert Bosch GmbH and Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Bosch Rexroth AG.
Experience at BMW, Boston Consulting and Zeiss
Peter studied mechanical and process engineering at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern and industrial engineering at the University of Hagen. He began his professional career in 2000 as a development engineer at BMW, while at the same time completing his doctorate at the Fraunhofer Institute and subsequently working for the Boston Consulting Group, including in the USA. In 2011, he joined the Zeiss Group and held various management positions before becoming a member of the Executive Board of Carl Zeiss AG in 2017. There he was responsible for the Industrial Quality and Research division until the end of September 2025.
