At over 30 locations throughout Germany, manufacturers of machinery and equipment can obtain information free of charge about safety concepts for area monitoring. The complementary online event series &#8220;Web compact&#8221; from the &#8220;Automation on Tour&#8221; series will focus on safety-related issues of machine and plant operators in 2023.<\/h3>\n<p>From March to June 2023, Pilz welcomes machinery and plant manufacturers at over 30 locations in Germany to an intensive exchange on the possibilities of safe area monitoring &#8211; be it safety concepts with scanners, light curtains or radar sensor technology.<\/p>\n<p>Pilz experts will share their knowledge of current changes in the field of directives and standards at the event. Also part of the program: Everything you need to know about the new Machinery Ordinance. From theory to practice: together with Pilz experts, participants work out a safety solution live on site using a common machine example. The verification of the safety concept is also considered in detail.<\/p>\n<p>New in the seminar: Discussion of the most important &#8220;do&#8217;s and don&#8217;ts&#8221; in the area of electro-sensitive protective equipment. The previous second series of Pilz seminars &#8220;Safe operation of plant and machinery&#8221; will be continued in 2024 and from then on always alternates with the &#8220;Safe automation&#8221; seminar.<\/p>\n<p>Digital supplement &#8220;Web compact&#8221;: For those who can&#8217;t be there on site but still want to keep up to date with safe automation, Pilz offers the online format &#8220;Automation on Tour &#8211; Web compact&#8221;, a web seminar on a current topic twice a month.<br \/>\nIn 2023, the topics range from &#8220;safe presence detection under harsh environmental conditions&#8221; to &#8220;what the new Machinery Ordinance means for machine manufacturers and operators&#8221; to &#8220;employee protection in production &#8211; productivity and safety of machines&#8221;. Here, too, the focus is on a high level of practical relevance and knowledge transfer.
