This year&#8217;s trade show offered 1,300 exhibitors from 39 countries a net exhibition area of 86,136 square meters. A euphoric mood as well as filled order books were the result of a successful comeback of the trade show.<\/p>\n<p>A closer look at this year&#8217;s visitor figures shows that a total of 35,944 individual visitors came to the Hannover exhibition center. This means that the values are at the same level as the last event (2018), which is an extraordinary result &#8211; especially in view of the generally more difficult circumstances. International industry experts made their visits to the trade show somewhat shorter, but more purposeful.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s hard to put into words how we feel after giving our all for the last four years to make the show happen. We are overwhelmed by the fantastic turn out and proud that the show is once again able to fulfill its critical role as the central meeting place for the sheet metal working industry,&#8221; says Evelyn Warwick, Exhibition Director of EuroBlech, on behalf of organizer Mack-Brooks Exhibitions. &#8220;This year&#8217;s event was particularly important for the sheet metal working industry as a whole. You can see that in the exhibition space alone, which was very close to the record levels seen in 2018,&#8221; concludes Evelyn Warwick.<\/p>\n<p>On the exhibitor side, this year EuroBlech achieved a 62 percent share of foreign exhibitors, representing a 4 percent increase in internationality. This trend is also continuing on the visitor side: According to an initial evaluation of the trade fair analysis, around half of the trade visitors (56 percent) came from abroad, making EuroBlech an even more international event. Besides Germany, the most important visitor countries were the Netherlands, Poland, Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Austria, Belgium, Denmark and France.<\/p>\n<p>As a central marketplace, EuroBlech 2022 allowed visitors to meet and experience what the future of sheet metal processing will look like. EuroBlech offered many the opportunity to explore possible solutions to these challenges and to find business partners with whom they can integrate these processes, machines and systems into their production. The most important topics were digitalization, sustainability and Industry 4.0. Many of the products and innovations on display at EuroBlech have been developed with a strong focus on cost and resource efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The visitors were very serious this year. Almost every second person came to EuroBlech 2022 with investment plans. That&#8217;s 4 percent more compared to the last show,&#8221; explains Evelyn Warwick. Both exhibitors and visitors were extremely satisfied with the show and their newly established business relationships. Visitors particularly praised the completeness and internationality of the trade show&#8217;s offerings, as well as the quality of the booths with many live demonstrations on digitization. Exhibitors said they encountered a top-qualified, international trade audience with high decision-making power (80 percent). Most of the visitors came from industry (72 percent); other important sectors were trade, the skilled trades and services. The most important sectors from which visitors came were mechanical engineering, steel and light metal construction, iron, sheet metal and sheet metal products, the automotive industry and its suppliers, iron and steel production and electrical engineering.<br \/>\nMany exhibitors at this year&#8217;s event have already announced their participation in the next EuroBlech in 2024.
