of its TruTool N 700 nibbler, improving it in several ways. Frequently used in demolition and disassembly of various tanks, the tool now features a 1700-watt motor with overload protection that ensures constant speed under load and has high pulling power. It cuts sheets up to seven millimeters thick at a working speed increased to 1.3 m\/min &#8211; without any drop in performance.<\/h3>\n<p>However, the developers at Trumpf have not only optimized the performance of the disassembly tool, but have also placed great emphasis on ergonomics so that users can work for long periods without tiring. The decisive factor here is that at 7.7 kg, the new N 700 is 650 grams, or eight percent, lighter than its predecessor and at 42.6 cm is 4.2 cm shorter. In addition, the motor has a soft start, which prevents hard recoil when switching on.<\/p>\n<p>Trumpf also describes the universal handle, which is ideally suited for all applications, as a particularly interesting plus point. The designers have succeeded in reducing the interfering contours to a minimum by means of a new shape and attachment to the upper part of the housing. This makes the machine very slim, which makes it easier to work in tight spaces. A nice side effect is that the nibbler can be set down easily and stably with the new handle.<\/p>\n<p>All the advantages already known from the predecessor model of the N 700 are retained. The square punch ensures maximum profile runability and allows cuts over sheets with beads and edges with up to 90 degrees. It can be guided in four directions. Thanks to the exposed rotary lock with no interfering contours, adjustment in 90-degree increments is tool-free and lightning-fast.<\/p>\n<p>The general properties of the cold-separating nibbler technology and the other improvements make the new TruTool N 700 from Trumpf suitable for demolition work of any kind. No glowing chips fly, no toxic fumes or other emissions are produced.
