series of events will start: In the &#8220;Safe operation of plant and machinery&#8221; seminar, operators will find out how they can bring their machinery up to the current state of the art with suitable safety-related retrofit solutions, thereby increasing the liability safety and availability of their machinery.<\/h3>\n<p>In the seminar &#8220;Safe operation of plant and machinery&#8221;, automation expert Pilz shows how the current legal requirements from the Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health for the safe use of machinery can be put into practice. Using practical examples, the participants learn the individual steps for the conversion of machines. It also considers when the operator becomes the manufacturer and which requirements from the Machinery Directive must then be met. The seminar is aimed at employers, safety officers as well as maintenance and production managers of companies.<br \/>\n&#8220;We are pleased to once again be able to visit our customers on site to exchange views with them personally and constructively on current topics in safe automation,&#8221; says Tilo Schmidt, Regional Manager East of Pilz Vertriebs- und Servicegesellschaft Deutschland. &#8220;We were again able to welcome many participants to Part 1 of our &#8220;Automation on Tour&#8221; event series and are positive about continuing this in Part 2 in the fall.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe seminar is hosted in 19 cities across Germany &#8211; from Hamburg to Weingarten. In addition, the associated online format &#8220;Automation on Tour &#8211; Web compact&#8221; continuously refreshes knowledge about automation twice a month.<\/p>\n<p>Refresh knowledge online<br \/>\nFor those who can&#8217;t be there but still want to keep up to date with safe automation, Pilz offers a web seminar on a current topic twice a month in the online format &#8220;Automation on Tour &#8211; Web compact&#8221;. Here, too, the focus is on a high level of practical relevance and knowledge transfer.
