MMK uses improved technologies developed by SMS Group company Paul Wurth. In this way, very high environmental standards can be met. These new technologies can also be used in existing blast furnaces to achieve reductions in CO2 emissions at existing sites worldwide.<br \/>\n&#8220;Our contribution to these projects consists, among other things, of the production technology and workflows for the use of synthesis gas, which can be injected into the blast furnace shaft,&#8221; says Dr. Thomas Hansmann, Head of Metallurgy at SMS Group and CTO of Paul Wurth. &#8220;Our technology has the potential to significantly reduce emissions.
