Two further systems will complete the partially refurbished Hall 1 in the foreseeable future.<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;We are pleased that with the A135 we have now been able to commission the first of three newly planned plants in K\u00f6nigsbach-Stein,&#8221; explains IMO Managing Director Bernd M\u00fcller. &#8220;With foresight, we started to renew the hall floor and prepare the hall technology for a new generation of equipment during a period of lower order intake.&#8221; In general, the wastewater partial flows were newly installed and divided in Hall 1. This allows the recyclable materials\/metals to be treated and recycled even better and in a more environmentally friendly manner.<\/p>\n<p>The new system can run at high speeds and apply coatings containing nickel, tin and silver. Thanks to its low-pressure blow-off system, the A135 operates in a particularly power-saving and energy-efficient manner. The state-of-the-art facility also features an electrolytic heating system that runs on hot water instead of electricity, eliminating any resulting fire hazard.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_5743\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5743\" style=\"width: 508px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5743\" src=\"https:\/\/bbr.news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/01\/IMO_Inbetriebnahme_A135_Gruppe-508x381.jpg\" alt=\"f.l.t.r.: Armin M\u00fcller (Member of the Executive Board), Markus Klingenberg (Head of R&amp;D), Thomas P. Markus Klingenberg, Head of Research + Development at IMO and at the same time Project Manager of the A 135, is proud that despite a difficult supply situation the new strip processing line could be commissioned on time and within budget: &#8220;I would like to thank all colleagues involved for the well-functioning agile project management, which laid the foundation for the successful execution with weekly meetings of the core team and topic-related participation of the extended team. This enabled any difficulties to be identified and eliminated at an early stage.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Another A125 plant is being rebuilt and is scheduled for completion in mid-2022. Also in the planning stage is the A115 plant, which is scheduled to come on stream in early 2023.
