For organisational and hygiene reasons, the date for the 1st Blechexpo Stahl Convent had to be postponed by 1 day to 28 October 2021. Location: On the stand area of the Blechexpo Forum at Messe Stuttgart. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. Participation is free of charge.<\/h3>\n

On October 28th, the 3rd day of Blechexpo 2021, there will be another highlight at Blechexpo in Stuttgart: The trade fair promoters, P.E. Schall GmbH & Co. KG, have launched the 1st Blechexpo Steel Convention. Its motto is “Ways of Steel Production” and it is organised by the Stahl-Kommunikation agency.<\/p>\n

In times of climate protection, new, energy- and climate-friendly methods for steel production are being researched worldwide or have even already been successfully implemented. It is only logical that this not only protects the climate, but also increases the costs of steel production and, ultimately, the material costs for steel users in the process chain.<\/p>\n

Renowned speakers from the companies will speak about this complex topic and discuss it together with the visitors of the convention. The order of the presentations is still to be determined.<\/p>\n

– ArcelorMittal (Speaker: Dr. Holger Braun, Head of CO2 Strategy at ArcelorMittal Eisenh\u00fcttenstadt) Topic: “Steel4Future – on the way to green steel”.
\n– Salzgitter AG (Speaker: Dr. -Ing. Peter Juchmann, Operations Director at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH) Working topic: “SALCOS – Salzgitter Low CO2 Steelmaking”.
\n– BDSV (Speaker: Dipl.-Kffr. Daniela Entzian, Gf Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Stahlrecyclingund Entsorgungsunternehmen e. V.) Topic: “Climate protection is made from scrap”.<\/p>\n
