There are good reasons to expect an increase in sales in Hungary and the Netherlands, and the air cleaning specialist was able to make up for a lack of trade fair presence through established trade structures and digitalisation.<\/h3>\n<p>&#8220;Thanks to our trading structures, which have grown over the long term, we can look back on a stable level of sales and are even pleased to report significant growth in some target markets,&#8221; says Simon Tel\u00f6ken, Teka&#8217;s Managing Director, expressing his satisfaction.<\/p>\n<p>Like many suppliers in the industry, Teka is unable to make its presence felt on the international trade fair stage for the second year in succession. In recent months, however, face-to-face meetings and events have been replaced in many cases by on-site trade partners and, above all, by the digitalised sales, consulting and technical service. In online meetings, the customer relations were intensively and Teka typical &#8211; personally familiar &#8211; continued on a trusting level. For example, Teka&#8217;s international exports are currently almost at the same level as in the pre-crisis year of 2019, boosted by orders deferred in 2020.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;In the meantime, patience in the pandemic has been learned by all market participants. Thus, we also have to impose waiting times on our customers in part due to a lack of supplier parts, but these are largely accepted and planned into the workflow,&#8221; he continues. A particular challenge also lies in the increasingly high freight costs. Overall, however, the company continues to score internationally with an attractive price-performance ratio. Experience has shown that the beginning of the colder months of the year are particularly strong sales months for Teka &#8211; if only because less can be ventilated via doors and windows and because it pays to use heat recovery.<\/p>\n<p>Teka is currently recording pleasing sales growth in the Netherlands in particular. Sales in the neighbouring country were already at almost the same level last year as in 2019. However, there are signs of a significant increase in sales in the current financial year. Business in Hungary is also currently very satisfactory, with a substantial increase in sales forecast by the end of this year. In Spain, the company is benefiting from its on-the-ground presence through a dedicated office and is moving back to 2019 revenue levels amid optimistic economic sentiment following the hard lockdown. Here, too, the lack of trade fair presence is compensated for by increased dealer visits and sales campaigns. Even though companies in Spain in particular have had to cope with large losses in sales in many cases, growth is expected, also initiated by government subsidies.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to the product portfolio, the bestsellers such as Filtoo for mobile applications or the Filtercube were in particular demand in the last six months. The brand manufacturer is also expecting new impulses for the EXCube in particular. After a development period of only one year, it was possible to launch a product innovation for more safety when handling explosive materials and to close an important gap in the product range.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The order of the day is to adapt to international customer demand with the greatest possible flexibility.
