cathodes for the plasma cutting systems Q, Smart Focus and HiFocus. The cuts are characterized by metallic bright surfaces, narrow joints and significantly less beard attachment.<\/p>\n<p>The range of application includes stainless steel and aluminium from 1 to 6 mm thickness. The improved design, the optimized manufacturing process and the patent-pending technology will in future result in a significant increase in the service life of the cathodes &#8211; by a factor of 5 to 10 for a cutting current of 60 A.<\/p>\n<p>The low burn-back of the cathode pins ensures a permanently high cut quality, which is evident in the form of smooth cut surfaces with significantly less dross build-up. Users benefit from the new cathodes E042, F042+ and G042+ as of now: They are standard for all current plasma current sources of the Q, Smart Focus and HiFocus series and can easily be used with existing cutting data.
