Trumpf is unveiling a new generation of its most productive punching machine, the Trupunch 5000, at Euroblech. According to the manufacturer, this new model offers improved reliability, productivity, and ease of use.<\/h3>\n

The new control system, the \u201cVision Equipment Pro\u201d camera system, and a second monitor ensure greater transparency in production. The new control system transmits the machine\u2019s process and status data to Trumpf\u2019s \u201cSmart View\u201d digital service. In addition, up to ten cameras capture the machine\u2019s work area. Production staff can access these images at any time from any location, such as at the setup station. Furthermore, a second screen can display production information, such as camera images of the machines or data from Trumpf\u2019s Oseon software. In the future, machine updates can also be installed without a service technician on site. Looking ahead, Trumpf plans to offer the \u201cRemote Operation Support\u201d service for the Trupunch 5000 as well. This will allow Trumpf to remotely troubleshoot the machine at the user\u2019s site.<\/p>\n

With the new machine control system for the Trupunch 5000, Trumpf is laying the groundwork for future-proof automation. At the trade show, the company is showcasing for the first time an AI-powered application for the automated sorting of small parts. The intelligent cameras detect the position of the small parts, allowing a robot to pick them up and sort them without any programming effort.<\/p>\n

Trumpf has simplified the operation of the new Trupunch 5000. An improved safety concept shortens the operator\u2019s walking distances and reduces downtime. Trumpf has also made tool setup more user-friendly. The new \u201cToolmaster Linear\u201d tool changer features an additional display at the setup station.
\nTrumpf maintains the same performance specifications for the new Trupunch 5000. With 22 metric tons of punching force, the machine processes sheet metal up to 8 mm thick at a rate of up to 1,600 strokes per minute.<\/p>\n
